1. Shipping Locations
House of Books delivers to all major governates and cities across the Arab Republic of Egypt. Whether you are in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, the Delta, Upper Egypt, or Sinai, we make sure your books reach you safely.
2. Shipping Rates & Fees
We keep our shipping rates transparent, simple, and affordable:
- Cairo & Giza: Flat rate of 80 EGP.
- All Other Governates: Flat rate of 150 EGP.
3. Free Shipping Threshold
We want reading to be as accessible as possible. All orders of 1,500 EGP or more qualify for completely FREE shipping across all of Egypt.
4. Delivery Timeframes
We value your time. We pack and ship orders quickly so you can start reading as soon as possible:
- Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria: Delivery takes 1 to 2 business days.
- Other Governates: Delivery takes 2 to 3 business days.
*Note: Delivery times may vary slightly during public holidays, bad weather, or remote location routing.
5. Order Tracking & Cash on Delivery (COD)
Our default shipping method is Cash on Delivery. Once your order is processed, a shipping agent will coordinate delivery with you via phone call or WhatsApp. If you pay via InstaPay or Etisalat Cash in advance, the order will be marked as paid and delivered to your designated address.
